You will need:
-Rice Krispie Treats Cereal
-Mini Marshmallows
-Butter (Sweet Cream, Salted)
-Americolor Super Red Food Coloring
-Americolor Leaf Green Food Coloring
-Red Mini M&M’s
-Wreath Cookie Cutter
You will need two batches of Rice Krispie Treat mixture to make Christmas Wreath Rice Krispie Treats – one red and one green. For each batch of Rice Krispie Treats you will need 4 tablespoons of butter, 4 cups of mini marshmallows and 4 cups of Rice Krispies Cereal.
Melt the butter in a large pan on medium heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted. Turn off the heat and add the food coloring to color the marshmallow mixture. Add the Rice Krispie Cereal to the colored marshmallow mixture and gently stir until it is completely covered.
ow make up your Green Rice Krispie Treat mixture. When that is done, pop a red bow back in the Wreath Cookie Cutter. It will fit back in easily. Take a small
amount of the Green Rice Krispie Treat mixture and place it in the wreath area of the cookie cutter.
Mold the green mixture into the remaining area of the cookie cutter. Because the green mixture is still warm, it will stick to the red bow.
Using a small round cookie cutter, cut out a hole in the middle of the wreath area.
Finally, embellish the Christmas Wreath Rice Krispie Treat with six red Mini M&M’s. Make sure you do this part while the green Rice Krispie Treat mixture is still warm and sticky or the M&M’s will fall off later.
