blueberry icecream

Blueberry icecream

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Freezing Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:


      4 cups fresh blueberries or 4 cups frozen blueberries
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons water
4 cups half-and-half cream

how to prepare it at home ?


       1) In a large saucepan, combine the blueberries, sugar and water; bring to a boil.

2 )Mash the blueberries  in a bowl with a fork or whirl them in a blender or food processor. How pureed or mashed you want the blueberries is completely a matter of taste

3)In a large bowl, combine the half-and-half cream 

4)Freeze the mxture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions, adding the blueberry puree once the mixture is frozen to a texture/thickness of soft-serve ice cream. OR, make ice cream without an ice cream maker, stirring in the blueberry puree once the mixture is almost completely frozen.
